DoÄŸanbey, located within the Konya Volcanic Belt, was identified based on displaying similar satellite-image (Aster) characteristics to those of the Company’s Inlice gold discovery. Following a review of geological, geochemical, IP and magnetic data, a high-priority target area of approximately 600 m x 800 m was defined where porphyry-style veins were identified outcropping at surface (Fig. 1).
Three diamond drill holes were undertaken to investigate the coincident geochemical and geophysical targets (Fig. 2). Initial drilling has indicated gold grades of approximately 0.1 g/t Au (Table. 1) associated with porphyry- and epithermal-style gold mineralization at depth. This was followed-up with a further three RC drill holes.
